Dedication

I am just starting a new book by Kim Dare, Thrown to the Lions 03 - Ellery’s Duty. I don't normally read the dedications on books and the pages before the first chapter starts, I know I should but I just always seem to skip them except for this time for some reason I can't explain. But I have to say that I'm glad I did. This is what it said:

"To everyone who knows that who you really are, is far more important than who you are supposed to be."

It seems much more poinent than the usual 'Always be yourself' or when someone tells you what you are isn't want they want you to be or do.
It just struck me as a really good phrase that everyone should read/hear.
